Between July and August, our team of four spent one month in Arunachal Pradesh making professional recordings of the traditional music of the Monpa tribe. Our aim was to document aspects of this beautiful and rapidly changing culture, thereby making it accessible and available to academic researchers and also to anybody seeking an insight into this fascinating culture, including ethnic Monpas, both now and in the future.
